Please do NOT use these forms to make an application for the GTP. Please use the TDA application procedure and form when it becomes available on the TDA website.
Please download the documents below to make an application to GTP “Accelerated Option,” the Registered Teacher Programme and the Overseas Trained Teacher Programme:
Important note:Applications for the GTP “Accelerated Option” will be accepted from 1st September 2010.
Applications to the OTTP are currently being accepted.
Applications to the RTP are NOT currently being accepted.

Please read the following instructions carefully so that you can complete your application correctly and we can process it as quickly as possible:
- Download all 3 documents. The guidance will support you in completing the Application From correctly. The candidate general information form provides us with essential contact details.
- Ensure that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- If you wish you may word process your entry for the role of the teacher section but you must observe the word limit.
- Please ensure your form is fully completed before you return it, incomplete application forms WILL NOT be accepted.
Please ensure you return:
- The Application form and Candidate General Information sheet. Please staple the 4 pages of the Application form together in the top left hand corner.
- 1 x passport sized photograph of yourself.
- Photocopies of your Maths and English GCSE. From 1st October 2006 all primary applicants for the Graduate, Registered and Overseas Trained Teacher Programme also need GCSE in Science at grade C or above (or equivalent). You also need to send a copy of your degree certificate for GTP “Accelerated Option” & OTTP applicants, and evidence of 240 cat points for RTP applicants. (ie. HND, Foundation Degree, etc). If you have international certificates please enclose NARIC Confirmation that these are comparable to British qualifications.
- An up to date CV.
